Korean-made focused ultrasound, MFDS-approved (21-831), with facial cartridges at 1.5 / 2.0 / 3.0 / 4.5 mm. Not FDA-cleared in the US. It treats at the same depths as Ultherapy — the difference is imaging, not depth.
What it is
Korean-made focused ultrasound approved by Korea's MFDS. Approved uses include brow lifting and improvement of wrinkles around the eyes, mouth and neck, with separate body cartridges approved in 2025 for elasticity of the abdomen and thighs. It generates thermal coagulation points at selected depths, which prompts collagen remodelling. Not FDA-cleared in the United States.

Who it suits
Treats at the same depths as Ultherapy, so the tissue it can reach is the same. Where the two differ is in how depth is confirmed during treatment — Ultherapy images the tissue in real time, while Shurink relies on anatomical landmarks and operator experience. Neither is better as a device; the difference matters most where tissue thickness is unpredictable.

What to expect
You can return to normal activities and wear makeup immediately after treatment. Mild swelling and flushing are common straight afterwards; sunscreen and a moisturiser are advised. The manufacturer does not publish a fixed shot count — the recommended number varies with your skin condition, the degree of laxity and the area treated, which is why it is decided at consultation rather than quoted in advance.
