Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: August 4, 2026

1. Introduction

KRACE is a platform operated by RnPT Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Korea ("KRACE," "we," "us," or "our").

KRACE provides coordination services across healthcare, wellness, and related lifestyle services — connecting users with independent service partners in Korea and beyond.

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the KRACE website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

"You" and "your" refer to any person who accesses or uses the Platform, and any person on whose behalf you make a booking, inquiry, or request.

2. Definitions

  • Platform — The KRACE website, mobile applications, and related digital services.
  • Services — Coordination, AI-assisted provider matching, booking facilitation, payment facilitation, interpretation support, post-service communication, and related support services provided through the Platform.
  • Service Provider — Independent third-party providers accessible through the Platform, including healthcare institutions and clinics; wellness and aesthetic providers; travel and accommodation partners; cultural experience and lifestyle partners; interpretation and concierge providers; and any other partners offering services through KRACE.
  • User — Any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including those booking on behalf of others.
  • Booking — A reservation or appointment request made through the Platform.
  • Deposit — A prepayment collected by KRACE at the time of a booking request, credited in full against the treatment or service cost charged by the Service Provider. The Deposit is not a service fee. The applicable amount is displayed at checkout prior to payment confirmation.
  • Service Preference Form — The user-submitted questionnaire used to generate AI-assisted Service Provider suggestions, regardless of service category.

3. Changes to These Terms

KRACE may modify these Terms when there is a reasonable basis for doing so, such as changes in applicable law, regulatory requirements, or significant changes to the Platform's services or operational structure.

Material changes that affect your rights will be communicated via in-app notification or email at least 30 days before taking effect. We will clearly identify what has changed and why. Any changes to these Terms will not affect Bookings confirmed prior to the effective date of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may terminate your account before the effective date without penalty. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Non-material changes (such as corrections or clarifications) will be posted on this page with an updated date.

4. Eligibility and Account

4.1 Age Requirement

The Platform's booking and payment services are intended for users aged 18 or over. By making a booking, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

KRACE does not knowingly facilitate bookings for users under 18. If we become aware that a booking has been made by a person under 18 without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian, we may cancel the booking and refund any Deposit in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Regarding account registration and personal information: users under 14 years of age may not register, and KRACE does not knowingly collect their personal information without verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian in accordance with PIPA Art. 22-2. A parent or legal guardian who permits a minor to access the Platform accepts full responsibility for that minor's compliance with these Terms and for any booking made.

4.2 Legal Capacity

By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under the laws of the Republic of Korea.

4.3 Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining accurate and complete account information, for all activity conducted under your account, and for keeping your credentials confidential. KRACE does not perform government-issued identity verification. You are responsible for the accuracy of all information you provide.

4.4 Communication Responsibility

You must provide a valid email address to receive booking confirmations and service notices. KRACE will not be responsible for issues directly caused by your provision of incorrect or inaccessible contact information.

4.5 Bookings on Behalf of Others

If you book on behalf of another person, you represent that you have obtained all necessary consents from that individual, informed them of these Terms and our Privacy Policy, and that you accept responsibility for their compliance.

4.6 Suspension and Termination by KRACE

KRACE may suspend or terminate your access where there is reasonable and specific cause, including:

  • material violation of these Terms;
  • fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity on the Platform;
  • conduct that poses a risk to the safety of other users or Service Providers.

Except where immediate action is required to protect users or the Platform from significant and imminent harm, KRACE will provide prior notice before suspension or termination and an opportunity to address the issue. Where KRACE takes action under this section, you may appeal the decision by contacting support@kracecare.com within 14 days.

4.7 Your Right to Terminate

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@kracecare.com or through the account settings on the Platform. Termination does not affect any obligations that arose before the effective date of termination, including outstanding Bookings or payment obligations.

5. Platform Role and Service Model

5.1 KRACE as a Coordination Platform

KRACE operates as a coordination and support platform. We connect users with independent Service Providers and are not a party to the service agreement between you and any Service Provider.

KRACE does not: provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, or clinical services; employ or directly supervise healthcare professionals; act as a healthcare provider, medical institution, insurance provider, or licensed referral service.

All services are provided solely by independent Service Providers, who are solely responsible for their own service delivery, quality, and outcomes.

5.2 AI-Assisted Provider Matching

KRACE offers an AI-assisted matching feature that suggests Service Providers based on your stated preferences in the Service Preference Form. Suggestions are generated algorithmically and do not constitute a professional referral, clinical recommendation, or endorsement of any specific provider. AI-assisted matching does not guarantee availability or service outcomes. The final selection of any Service Provider is made solely by you.

Where applicable, KRACE operates in accordance with Korean law governing foreign patient attraction services (Medical Service Act, Art. 27-2).

5.3 Scope of Services

KRACE may provide: service discovery and information; AI-assisted matching; booking and appointment facilitation; payment facilitation; interpretation and communication coordination; pre- and post-service support; and related lifestyle and wellness service coordination.

The scope of available services may vary by partner availability. Where KRACE intends to significantly reduce or discontinue a service that you are actively using, we will provide reasonable advance notice.

5.4 Information Accuracy

Content about Service Providers is provided for informational purposes. KRACE takes reasonable steps to ensure accuracy but cannot independently verify all details provided by Service Providers. Where KRACE becomes aware of material inaccuracies, we will take reasonable steps to correct them promptly.

6. Booking and Payment

6.1 Booking Process

Submitting a booking request does not constitute a confirmed booking. Upon receiving your request, KRACE will promptly notify you of receipt in accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Art. 14. Your booking will remain in a pending status until the selected Service Provider confirms availability.

A booking is confirmed only when you receive written confirmation from KRACE via your registered email address. Availability shown on the Platform is for reference only and is subject to change.

If the selected Service Provider is unable to accommodate your request, KRACE will notify you as soon as practicable. Where possible, KRACE will endeavour to suggest an alternative Service Provider. You are under no obligation to accept any alternative offered. If no alternative is accepted, your booking will be cancelled and a full refund of your Deposit will be issued to your original payment method.

6.2 Deposit

KRACE collects a Deposit at the time you submit a booking request. The applicable amount is displayed at checkout prior to payment confirmation.

  • The Deposit is a prepayment toward your treatment or service cost, not a service fee. It is credited in full against your final bill with the Service Provider.
  • Consultation, provider matching, booking coordination, interpretation support, and post-service follow-up are provided at no additional charge.
  • The Deposit is collected by KRACE as a limited payment collection agent on behalf of the Service Provider.
  • The Deposit is refundable in accordance with the schedule in Section 7.2 and the Cancellation and Refund Policy. Refund percentages apply to the full Deposit amount paid; KRACE does not deduct payment processing fees from refunds.
  • Where KRACE arranges visa or entry documentation support, any associated fee is separate from the Deposit, displayed separately at checkout, is not credited against your treatment cost, and is non-refundable once the relevant documents have been prepared or submitted.

6.3 Service and Treatment Costs

The balance of your treatment or service cost is paid directly to the Service Provider at the time of service and is not collected by KRACE. The Service Provider determines the final amount following your consultation.

KRACE acts as a communication sales intermediary under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce of the Republic of Korea. The underlying service contract remains between you and the Service Provider. KRACE is not the seller of any service.

6.4 Currency and Fees

Transactions may be processed in KRW, USD, or other currencies as displayed at checkout. KRACE is not responsible for currency conversion fees, exchange rate fluctuations, or additional charges imposed by your own bank or card issuer. Payment processing fees charged by third-party processors (such as PayPal) are borne by KRACE and are not deducted from any refund issued to you. For full details, see our Cancellation and Refund Policy §8. Any change to the Deposit amount will not affect Bookings confirmed prior to the effective date of that change.

6.5 Payment Security

KRACE does not store full payment card information. Payment data is processed by certified third-party payment processors in accordance with PCI-DSS standards. KRACE does not act as a financial institution.

7. Cancellations and Refunds

7.1 General Principles

Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation relative to the scheduled appointment (based on Korea Standard Time, KST) and whether the cancellation was initiated by you or the Service Provider. The Deposit amount varies by service type and is displayed at checkout, but the same refund schedule applies to all bookings regardless of the Deposit amount or the Service Provider selected.

7.2 Standard Refund Schedule

Refund percentages apply to the full Deposit amount you paid. KRACE does not deduct payment processing fees from refunds.

If your booking has not yet been confirmed by the Service Provider (Status: Pending), you may cancel at any time for a 100% refund of your Deposit. The schedule below applies only after your booking is confirmed.

  • 7 or more calendar days before appointment — 100%
  • 1–6 calendar days before appointment — 50%
  • Same day / No-show — No refund

Full Refund — Platform or Provider Fault

A full refund of your Deposit will be issued where: (a) the Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking; (b) KRACE cannot confirm a booking and no alternative is accepted; (c) a duplicate charge or system error has occurred; or (d) an exception is approved by KRACE under Section 9 of the Cancellation and Refund Policy. In these circumstances you may also choose to transfer your full Deposit to another Reviewed Service Provider instead of receiving a refund.

For full details, please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

7.3 Rescheduling

As an alternative to cancellation, you may request to reschedule your appointment under the following conditions:

  • Timing: All rescheduling requests — whether first or second — must be submitted at least 3 calendar days before the original confirmed appointment date (by midnight KST). The new appointment date does not reset this deadline.
  • Frequency: Each booking may be rescheduled a maximum of 2 times. Rescheduling changes the appointment date with the same Service Provider and is separate from the clinic change option in Section 7.4.
  • Validity: The rescheduled appointment must take place within 6 months of the original appointment date.
  • Cost: Rescheduling is free of charge when the above conditions are met.

Rescheduling requests submitted less than 3 calendar days before the original appointment date will not be accepted, and the standard cancellation policy will apply. Rescheduling is subject to Service Provider availability and is not guaranteed.

Cancellation after rescheduling: If a booking is rescheduled and subsequently cancelled, the applicable refund percentage under Section 7.2 will be determined based on the number of calendar days between the date the rescheduling request was submitted and the original confirmed appointment date — not the rescheduled appointment date.

Example: Your original confirmed appointment is on March 10. You submit a rescheduling request on March 5, moving the appointment to April 10. If you then cancel on April 2 — when your rescheduled appointment (April 10) is still 8 days away, which would normally suggest a 100% refund — the refund is NOT calculated based on April 10. It is calculated based on the original confirmed appointment date (March 10) and the date the rescheduling request was submitted (March 5): 5 calendar days remaining before the original confirmed appointment date → the 50% refund tier applies. This rule prevents refund tier gaming through repeated rescheduling.

7.4 One Free Clinic Change (Within 48 Hours)

If you change your mind about your chosen Service Provider, you may switch to another Reviewed Service Provider at no cost, provided the request is made within 48 hours of your booking request (measured from the time of payment, KST). This option is available once per booking, and changing does not start a new 48-hour window. Your full Deposit transfers to the new Service Provider and no new payment is required.

After 48 hours, or once the free change has been used, a request to switch Service Providers is treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking, and the standard refund schedule in Section 7.2 applies. If you cancel after changing Service Providers, the refund percentage is calculated from the confirmed appointment date with the new Service Provider.

Using this option does not reduce your refund rights. If the new Service Provider is unable to proceed, declines your booking, or cannot be confirmed, the full refund provisions in Section 7.2 apply regardless of whether you have already used your free clinic change.

Unlike rescheduling (Section 7.3), which keeps your original confirmed appointment date as the basis for any later refund calculation, a clinic change establishes a new booking — so the confirmed date with your new Service Provider becomes the basis for any subsequent refund.

7.5 Repeated Late Cancellations and No-Shows

If a pattern of repeated late cancellations (within the 1–6 day tier), same-day cancellations, or no-shows is identified, KRACE may apply the following measures progressively: written notice, prepaid deposit requirement, booking restriction, or account suspension. KRACE will provide written notice before any measure is applied. Rescheduling within the permitted 2-time limit under Section 7.3 is a policy-permitted right and will not be used as grounds for any measure under this section.

You may contact support@kracecare.com to request a review of any measure applied to your account. For full details, please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy §4.3.

7.6 Cancellation by Service Provider

If a Service Provider cancels a confirmed booking, KRACE will facilitate a full refund of your Deposit, or transfer your full Deposit to another Reviewed Service Provider — your choice. Where possible, KRACE will endeavour to suggest alternatives. You are under no obligation to accept any alternative offered.

7.7 KRACE's Role in Refunds

KRACE processes refunds to the extent of the Deposit collected through the Platform. For disputes regarding amounts paid directly to a Service Provider, you should seek resolution directly with that provider. KRACE will provide reasonable assistance in facilitating such resolution where possible.

7.8 Refund Processing Time

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing typically takes 3–15 business days depending on your payment method and financial institution.

For full details, please refer to our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

8. Service Disclosure, Health, and Safety

8.1 KRACE as an Integrated Coordination Platform

KRACE is not a provider of healthcare, medical, wellness, travel, lifestyle, or any other direct service. KRACE facilitates access to a broad range of services — including healthcare and medical support, wellness, aesthetic services, travel, cultural experiences, and related lifestyle services — by connecting users with independent Service Providers.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical advice, professional consultation, or a guarantee of any service outcome, regardless of the service category.

8.2 Your Responsibility

You are responsible for disclosing relevant information to your chosen Service Provider before receiving any service and for following pre- and post-service instructions from your Service Provider.

8.3 Cross-Border Acknowledgment

Service standards, regulations, and practices in Korea may differ from those of your country of origin. KRACE makes no representation that any service meets the standards of any jurisdiction other than Korea.

8.4 Interpretation and Coordination Services

Where KRACE arranges interpretation or coordination services in connection with your booking, such services are provided solely to facilitate communication between you and the Service Provider. Interpreters and coordinators arranged through KRACE are independent contractors and are not employees or agents of KRACE.

KRACE does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or adequacy of any interpretation provided. KRACE is not liable for any misunderstanding, miscommunication, omission, or error arising from interpretation or coordination services, including any impact such errors may have on the delivery of medical or other services. You are responsible for confirming with your Service Provider that all relevant information has been accurately communicated before proceeding with any service.

8.5 Emergency Situations

KRACE does not provide emergency response services of any kind. In the event of a medical emergency in Korea, you should contact the local emergency services immediately by calling 119. Any emergency medical treatment received will be provided by local medical institutions and personnel in accordance with the applicable Korean medical system and protocols. KRACE has no role in emergency medical decision-making and accepts no responsibility for outcomes arising from emergency medical situations.

9. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or unauthorized purposes;
  • make speculative, false, or fraudulent bookings or misrepresent your identity;
  • resell or transfer any booking, voucher, or service obtained through the Platform;
  • use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Platform;
  • submit false, misleading, or defamatory information;
  • interfere with or attempt to compromise the security or technical operation of the Platform; or
  • use the Platform in a manner that infringes the rights of any third party.

10. User Content and Reviews

By submitting reviews or other content ("User Content"), you grant KRACE a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content solely in connection with operating and promoting the Platform. This license does not include the right to create derivative works or to use your content for purposes unrelated to the Platform. You retain all ownership rights in your User Content.

User Content must reflect your genuine experience and must not be false, defamatory, or unlawful. KRACE may remove User Content that violates these requirements or applicable law. Where your content is removed, we will endeavor to notify you unless prohibited by law or where doing so is not reasonably practicable.

11. Intellectual Property

All Platform content — including text, graphics, logos, software, and design — is owned by or licensed to KRACE and protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, or distribute any Platform content without prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial use.

12. Third-Party Links and Services

The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party websites or services. KRACE is not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or terms. You should review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party service before use.

13. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

13.1 Platform Availability

KRACE will take reasonable steps to maintain Platform availability and functionality. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where practicable.

13.2 Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Korean law, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, KRACE's liability to you is subject to the following limitations.

KRACE is not liable for damages caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including Force Majeure events, third-party service failures, or your own actions or omissions.

Where KRACE is found liable, its total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to KRACE in the twelve months preceding the claim.

The above limitation does not apply in cases of KRACE's willful misconduct or gross negligence, and does not exclude or limit any liability that cannot be waived under applicable Korean law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by KRACE's negligence.

13.3 Service Provider Responsibility

KRACE is not liable for any act, omission, or negligence of any Service Provider. Your contractual relationship with a Service Provider for the actual delivery of services is governed by that provider's own terms.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KRACE and RnPT Inc. from any third-party claims, losses, or damages directly arising from your violation of these Terms or your inappropriate conduct toward Service Providers.

This obligation does not apply to the extent that any claim arises from KRACE's own negligence or breach of these Terms.

15. Force Majeure

Neither party will be liable for any delay or failure in performance resulting from causes genuinely beyond that party's reasonable control, including natural disasters, public health emergencies, government action, civil unrest, or failures of third-party infrastructure, provided the affected party takes reasonable steps to mitigate the impact and notifies the other party promptly.

16. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement under these Terms as described in Section 4.6 (termination by KRACE) and Section 4.7 (termination by you). Active Bookings at the time of termination will be handled in accordance with our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property rights, disclaimers, liability limitations, indemnification, and governing law — will remain in effect.

17. Travel, Entry, and Insurance

17.1 Your Responsibilities

It is your responsibility, regardless of nationality, to check with the relevant consulate or embassy of the Republic of Korea for current entry requirements before travel. Entry requirements, including visa and health-related conditions, are subject to change without notice.

17.2 Visa and Health Requirements

As visa and health entry requirements may change without prior notice, KRACE recommends that you verify all applicable requirements with the appropriate consulate or official authority before departure. KRACE is not liable for any inability to use services due to entry refusals, visa issues, or documentation requirements that are within your control.

17.3 Service Provider Requirements

Some Service Providers may require you to present specific documents — such as a valid passport, identification, or other records — as a condition of receiving their services. You are responsible for ensuring you hold all documents required by your chosen Service Provider prior to your appointment.

17.4 Insurance and Personal Preparedness

KRACE recommends that you obtain appropriate insurance coverage before using services in Korea, taking into account the nature of the services you intend to use. Coverage needs vary by service type and by your country of origin, and it is your responsibility to assess and arrange coverage suitable to your circumstances.

KRACE does not provide insurance and is not responsible for any costs, losses, or damages arising from insufficient coverage. Specific coverage requirements and recommendations, where applicable, will be communicated to you at the time of booking.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

18.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions (Law No. 20239, effective August 7, 2024).

18.2 Step 1 — Customer Support Resolution (All Disputes)

Before initiating any formal legal process, you agree to contact KRACE at support@kracecare.com and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve your concern directly. Most issues relating to bookings, payments, and service coordination can and should be resolved at this stage. KRACE is committed to responding to all support inquiries as promptly as practicable.

18.3 Step 2 — Small Claims (USD 500 or Less)

For disputes involving a claim amount of USD 500 or less, KRACE will provide a written determination following a good-faith review of the relevant facts. If you are not satisfied with this determination, you remain free to pursue other available remedies, including assistance from applicable consumer protection bodies in your jurisdiction.

18.4 Step 3 — Formal Dispute Resolution (Claims Above USD 500)

If a dispute cannot be resolved through the above steps within 30 days of your initial contact, either party may pursue formal resolution through one of the following options:

Option A — Korean Courts Disputes may be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Republic of Korea. Non-exclusive jurisdiction means that Korean courts are the agreed forum for disputes under these Terms, but does not prevent you from seeking relief in the courts of your own jurisdiction where required by applicable mandatory law.

Option B — KCAB Arbitration (By Mutual Agreement) Where both parties agree in writing, disputes may alternatively be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the Korea Commercial Arbitration Board (KCAB International) in Seoul, Korea, conducted in English, under KCAB International Arbitration Rules. The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.

In the absence of a written agreement to arbitrate, Option A applies.

18.5 Additional Consumer Resources

18.6 Platform Cooperation with Dispute Resolution Authorities

In accordance with the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce (as amended, effective 2026), KRACE cooperates with competent courts and authorized dispute resolution institutions in the Republic of Korea. Upon lawful request from a court or an authorized dispute resolution body, KRACE will provide relevant transaction records and Service Provider identification information necessary for the resolution of consumer disputes. This obligation applies regardless of whether KRACE is a direct party to the dispute.

18.7 Language

These Terms have been drafted, and shall be construed, in the English language. Any translation of these Terms is provided solely for reference and convenience. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall always prevail.

19. General Provisions

Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, including the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable. The remainder of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and incorporated policies, constitute the entire agreement between you and KRACE regarding use of the Platform.

No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without prior written consent. KRACE may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, provided that the successor entity assumes all obligations under these Terms.
