Data Deletion Instructions

1. Overview

This page explains how to delete your KRACE account and personal information, including for users who registered or logged in with a third-party login provider (e.g., Facebook Login, Google). This page can be accessed without logging in.

2. If You Can Log In

  1. Log in to your KRACE account.
  2. Go to My PageEdit Profile (/mypage/edit).
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog that appears.

Once confirmed, your account is deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone. Any active bookings will be handled according to our Cancellation and Refund Policy, and same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.


3. If You Cannot Log In

If you are unable to log in (for example, because you signed up with a third-party login provider and no longer have access to it), email us at support@kracecare.com to request deletion of your account and personal information.

To help us verify your identity, please include the email address or phone number associated with your account, and any details of the third-party login provider you used to register.


4. What Is Deleted, and What Korean Law Requires Us to Keep

When your deletion request is completed, we delete your personal information except where applicable Korean law requires us to retain certain records for a defined period. The categories most relevant to account deletion are:

  • Account information
    • Retention Period — Until account deletion; destroyed within 5 business days of the deletion request
    • Legal Basis — PIPA Art. 21
  • Booking and transaction records
    • Retention Period — 5 years from transaction date
    • Legal Basis — Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Art. 6
  • Payment records
    • Retention Period — 5 years from transaction date
    • Legal Basis — Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Art. 6
  • Consumer complaint and dispute records
    • Retention Period — 3 years
    • Legal Basis — Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Art. 6
  • Sensitive information (health-related)
    • Retention Period — Deleted within 7 days of transmission to the selected Service Provider, except where retention is required for dispute resolution or legal compliance (not exceeding 1 year)
    • Legal Basis — PIPA Art. 21; Art. 23
  • System access records (personnel access to personal information processing systems)
    • Retention Period — 2 years
    • Legal Basis — Standards for Ensuring the Safety of Personal Information (PIPC Notification)
  • User service access logs (login, IP, access times)
    • Retention Period — 3 months
    • Legal Basis — Framework Act on Telecommunications; internal policy

5. Processing Time

  • Self-service deletion (My Page): Your account is deactivated immediately when you confirm deletion. The underlying account information is destroyed within 5 business days of the deletion request, in accordance with Privacy Policy §11.
  • Deletion requested by email: We will respond within 10 days, as required under PIPA Art. 38 (see Privacy Policy §12). Identity verification may be required before we can process your request.
