Depending on the service you choose, you may voluntarily provide sensitive information (sensitive data under applicable law) to facilitate consultation or booking with your selected Service Provider. Providing this information is optional and you may proceed without submitting it. You may choose not to provide health-related information and proceed with consultation directly with your Service Provider.
Items Collected, Purpose, and Retention Period
- To facilitate pre-consultation and appointment preparation with your selected Service Provider. To enable accurate communication between you and the Service Provider. Only the minimum information necessary for consultation will be collected.
- Items Collected — Health conditions, medications, allergies. Prior treatments or surgeries. Any additional health-related details you choose to provide.
- Retention Period — KRACE retains this information only for the minimum period necessary. Sensitive health data is deleted within 7 days of transmission to your selected clinic, except where retention is required for dispute resolution or legal compliance (not to exceed 1 year). In cases where retention is required for dispute resolution, payment processing, or legal compliance, KRACE retains only the minimum necessary information for a limited period in accordance with applicable laws.
Important Limitations
- This information is used solely to facilitate communication with your chosen Service Provider.
- It is not used for advertising, sold to third parties, or used to train AI models. It may be processed by AI systems solely to facilitate your consultation matching within KRACE Care.
- It is protected with enhanced access controls and encryption.
- It is shared only with the specific Service Provider you select.
- Your information is protected using industry-standard encryption.
- KRACE is not a healthcare provider. Information shared through KRACE does not constitute a medical record under the Medical Service Act of Korea.
Information facilitates secure transmission
KRACE acts solely as an information conduit. Your data is securely transmitted to your selected Service Provider and is not stored long-term by KRACE.
After transmission, the selected Service Provider is responsible for its own use, storage, retention, protection, and deletion of the information in accordance with applicable laws and its own privacy practices.
Third-Party Sharing & Cross-Border Transfer
Your information is shared only with the Korean partner clinic you select. No international data transfer occurs for this purpose.
